The solvent extraction method of natural medicine extraction is a manipulation that uses the different solubility or distribution ratio of natural medicine in two immiscible (or slightly soluble) solvents to achieve the purpose of separation, extraction or purification. This can be explained by the extraction of organic compounds from water solvents by organic solvents that are immiscible (or slightly soluble) with water. When an aqueous solution containing organic compounds is extracted with an organic solvent, the organic compounds are distributed between the two liquid phases.
