Centrifugal Extractor Extraction Principle
Centrifugal extractor relies on centrifugal force to extract and separate two-phase liquid. The feed aqueous and the extractant are injected into the centrifugal extractor through different inlets according to a certain ratio. Through the mixed mass transfer of the two-phase liquid, the organic components in the feed aqueous are transferred to the extractant. Then, the two phases are quickly separated by the centrifugal force of the equipment and discharged from the body through the outlets to complete the extraction process. This is the extraction principle of the centrifugal extractor.
Centrifugal Extractor Stripping Principle
The stripping operation of the centrifugal extractor is to strip the loaded organic phase containing organic components, separate the organic components and the extractant, and achieve the purpose of stripping. The stripping operation usually adopts the same reverse operation method as the extraction process, that is, by adding appropriate stripping agents, the organic components are replaced from the extract, thereby achieving stripping.
