Coking wastewater is a typical toxic and difficult to degrade organic wastewater. If it is discharged directly, it will cause environmental pollution. Therefore, it needs to be pretreated first. A customer consulted about the project of pretreatment of organic wastewater from a coking plant. The coking plant produced a large amount of organic wastewater during the production process. The hourly treatment volume of this type of wastewater was 5 cubic meters, and the COD value was relatively high. It was necessary to extract the organic matter in the wastewater through pretreatment to reduce the COD and facilitate subsequent biochemical treatment.
